To turn off the comments for a WordPress page, find the Discussion box at the bottom of the screen and simply uncheck the "Allow Comments" option.
Cannot find the Discussion box?
Don't worry about it, just head on to the "Screen Options" at the top of your screen and make sure it's enabled for view.
